A. Williamson made a motion to approve the minutes from AUA Monthly Board Meeting on 11-19-23.
J. Green seconded the motion.
The board VOTED to approve the motion.

FINANCE Update
- Finance Updates
- 10-year lease with 4-5 year renewal options
- AUA will be reimbursed for school expenses related to modulars & building
- Will help with cash flow issue
- Will be more expensive in the long run
- Provides a path forward in immediate terms
- Alaina & Candace identified a mistake made by vendor and working to update report
- Emphasis on short term cash flow
- Current cashflow is tight
- State funding got pushed to Dec
- Working though drawing down on federal funds
- Submitted facilities grant
- Discussion of ongoing legal matter
- Ultimate goal is to purchase building
- Need fundraising chair
- PayPal presenting some issues
- Account was locked but currently resolved

- We need to increase enrollment

- Currently seeing few apps than last year

- Majority enrollment is in MS
- Consider language “AUA is outperforming the state”
- School Leader Report - public doc from the state on school readiness
- Data is based on last year
- Our students are performing with more proficiency than previous school year
- 100% of middle schoolers closing gaps year over year
- 100% of students making growth
- AUA is out performing state by 15 points (94.54)
- State school avg - 78
- We got 100% in closing the gap
- State school avg - 85
- School is in a great position academically (better than most)
- School calendar is up to date
