Call the Meeting to Order

G. Wallis called a meeting of the Finance Committee of Edison School of the Arts to order on Wednesday Jan 11, 2023 at 9:00 AM.

II. Financial Reporting

Review SY22-23 Committee Goals

December 2022 Financials

G. Wallis reviewed December financials.  There were follow-up questions presented which were:

 

 

  • How much of the $325k has been used for the new school expansion? 
  • How much has been submitted for ESSER reimbursements and how much do we have left to spend? 
  • When will the next reimbursement submission take place? 
  • What's needed from Edison to ensure we receive all eligible reimbursements?
  • Is there a way to categorize stipends being paid to staff?  G. Wallis would like to see a categorized list of all stipends paid.  

 

Areas of concern per financial report:

 

  • Compensation admin salaries certified and non-certified over by $140k 
  • PERF & TRF had a  catch-up adjustment to pay INPRS benefits to all supplemental pay to employees.
