- Senate Bill 282: Aims to cut down truancy or unexcused absences.
- Requires schools to intervene early & hold parent meetings in elementary students miss more than 5 days without an excuse.
- Senate Bill 185: Requires school create a policy prohibiting cell phones during instructional time.

The PATH School’s Dean of Academics, Dr. Brandalyn Hayes, will be heading up the Education Committee with Board Chair, Nicole Woodson. The committee will restart meetings virtually beginning May 24, 2024 @ 12 PM.
