Discuss Membership Responsibilities for the 2024-25 School Year
- Meeting every month on the 2nd Thursday of the month
- Akiba to let us know who should represent PTSO & Athletics s in the Development committee

Discussion
Fundraising:
Agreed that fundraising can have 3 different workstreams.
- Fundraising to support athletic operations
- Focus areas include sport teams uniforms, sport teams celebrations, transportation, etc.
- Addressed through Snap race and Athletics resources
- Fundraising for strategic plans for the school
- Focus areas include company sponsorships, gym, career development, etc.
- Addressed through the Development committee
- Fundraising to support standard academic operations
- Focus areas include anything outside athletics such as school clubs, field trips, etc.
- Addressed via the PTSO
Value Proposition for RTHS:
- School engagement team is working on it.
- Message is already clear on the website. No need to change that part.
- The work needs to be done on what RTHS brings to sponsors, parents, etc.
- Abid to draft some couple of value points to give to Akiba
Goals for 2024-2025 School Year:
- Aspiration: We should try to have $50K per year coming out of fundraising
- Activities that could help with $50K
- Company sponsorships
- Giving Tuesdays
- Alumni engagement
- Ideally need someone to help with this full time
- Angelina should be part of the development committee – Akiba to provide her e-mail before next meeting.
