  • Unadited Actuals- NOCCS meets monthly, State has been doing check ins. By Sept 15, the school sends a report of an audit to describe what how the spending and funding.  Standard form from the form. An award of funding to address the decline of ADA. First funding source LCFF, main state funding for per pupil attendee. Significant decline from the last two years, funding was available. The challenge was that the budget was not finalized by then. Funding given should not

Cash on hand and funding coming, expenses do not hurt school financials

  • Expenditures- Provided extra money but schools needed to provide how they spent the money. Each yr when the budget is approved, there is an estimate, and a plan must be made and presented. Must be posted on the school's website. It is a component of LCFF. Standard use per pupil cost is applied to compensation. There was a spike in state finances, greater than expected but still within range of compensation and benefits.

Carol: Is money covering shortfall? Jim- No it covers a portion of typical funding. Just categorized to be reported out. Varies by school.
