Call the Meeting to Order
J. Korn called a meeting of the Academic Excellence Committee of Alma del Mar to order on Monday Feb 26, 2024 at 9:03 AM.

Approve Minutes from January 2023 Committee Meeting
J. Korn made a motion to approve the minutes from Academic Excellence Committee Meeting on 01-19-24.
L. Hicks seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED to approve the motion.

Progress to Goals for AY23-24
J. Korn provided updates after discussing committee goals with D. Prentiss and T. DeLoach.

Academic Updates
A. Teevens reviewed academic data in detail, including 3-8th ELA, K-8th Math, and K-3rd Reading. Committee discussed impact of teacher turnover on academic results. A. Teevens will bring updates about Intent to Return and offer season to the March committee meeting.
