L. Hicks called a meeting of the Academic Excellence Committee of Alma del Mar to order on Friday May 19, 2023 at 9:05 AM.

II. Academic Excellence
A.
Secondary Schools Update
N. Concepcion shared a secondary schools update with the Trustees.
I. Almeida asked why the Academy of Honors had so few seats.
L. Hicks asked why no Ottiwell scholars applied to independent schools this year.
L. Hicks asked why parents are somewhat reticent to apply to the Academy of Honors.
L. Hicks asked that there be a summer school update at the next Board meeting.
