Call the Meeting to Order
M. Kay called a meeting of the Academic Excellence Committee of Alma del Mar to order on Friday Oct 22, 2021 at 9:04 AM.

Approve Minutes from September 2021
V. Brown made a motion to approve the minutes from Academic Excellence Committee Meeting on 09-17-21.
M. Kay seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED to approve the motion.
II. Academic Excellence
A.
General Check-In + MCAS Data Review
Committee discussed adoption of new Science curriculum; possible upcoming staffing shifts; plans for the new FDC library; and support from Teach for America for corps members.
B.
Plan for upcoming meetings
A. Teevens will plan to invite the campus principals and/or the Secondary Schools Guidance Counselor to upcoming meetings.
