Anti-Racism Statement: Alma del Mar strives to be an anti-racist institution. We seek to dismantle racist and white supremacist structures in pursuit of justice and racial equity.   • During the Board of Elementary and Secondary Education (Board) meeting on Tuesday, October 27, 2025, the Board voted to waive the regulatory deadline for audit submission for affected charter schools. With this waiver, all affected charter schools may submit their annual financial audit after November 1 but prior to January 1 (the statutory deadline).
  • DESE is working on a solution for any continued delay of Single Audit guidance from OMB. The Board only has the ability to waive a regulatory deadline; it does not have the authority to waive the statutory January 1 deadline for audit submission. Again, we will update you with further information as it becomes available.
  • Alma's Board has approved the Draft FY25 Audit and there are no further next steps for us to take.
