Jesus got updated financials from Tonya, need to review.  Believe we are close to our budgeted goal.  Discussed making one more reminder to the community about gap contributions for the year.

• Committee reviewed and updated the grant tracking spreadsheet
• Prioritized needs list to focus on for future grant applications
• Discussed reporting requirements for two grants already received.  Glen Bailey and Oregon Community Foundation/Betty Lou Roberts.  Just need to track expenses.  Tonya supporting with this.  No formal report required. 

• Jesus attended Chamber Coffee Chat last week.  Shared feedback on the event, and what we need to consider for our hosting in August.  Appreciated the work of the even Ambassadors

  • Jesus will make a welcome statement and share info on Arco,  Make sure someone highlights the mural.
  • Arco needs to provide raffle gifts.  Jesus to work with Perla and Cindy on options.  Thinking spirit wear and other 
  • Jesus already in contact with Chamber about setup needs for the event
  • Discussed having Arco promo materials out on the table.
• Community Event updates:
  • Jesus updated at Board meeting about Dia de Los Ninos event earlier this month.
  • Beaverton City Parade date announced for September 6th.  PTO supporting the event.
  • Chamber of Commerce Expo July 26th.   https://www.beaverton.org/community-expo/
    • Jesus to add to agenda with Grow Schools.  Should we pay for a booth?  Lots of families attend.
    • Can any Board members attend this event?
  • Beaverton Chamber also holds a golf event in September.  More of a networking event.
