- 10:00-10:45, 2nd grade
- 11:00-11:45, 4th grade
- 12:00-12:45, 5th grade
- 1:00-1:45, 1st grade
- 2:00-2:45, Kindergarten
Family attendance
- Tickets will be sent home with students a week before the performance.
- Due to capacity in our gym, we are giving each student three (3) tickets for guests to bring and use to get into the gym for the performance. *If you have a lap infant, they won’t require a ticket but please do your best to limit the group to at most 4 persons.
- Please enter and exit the gym through the rear doors.
- Doors will open 10 minutes before start time for each grade level block, we are asking families to promptly exit when the performance ends for that grade level in order for the next group of families to be seated.
- If you want your sibling to attend a performance, please pick up your sibling before the performance begins. Students do not count towards the guest tickets.
Parking:
- You can park offsite and walk in and/or use the limited additional parking in the school lot. Please review the graphic below.
- Please exit the parking lot as soon as possible to allow other families to find space for their children's performance.
- Please do not park right in front of the school, these are reserved for short term use.
Dress Code:
- Students are welcome to dress up in festive attire to enhance their performance! Some teachers have given guidance on what to wear, but generally festive dress is okay.
- We are so excited to bring this tradition back to Arco Iris and can’t wait to see our students shine on stage. Thank you for your support in making this event a success!
- If you have any questions or need additional information, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Winter Class Parties
- Winter celebrations will take place on Friday, December 19th – the last day of school before Winter Break!
- Check VicNet for volunteer opportunities to help with these celebrations! There are still opportunities for volunteers to help in the classroom during the celebration as well as opportunities for volunteers to donate supplies and snacks for the class!
- Remember, every $10 you spend on class donations counts as 1 hour of volunteering and counts toward the yearly goal of 20 volunteer hours per family!
- All snacks need to come from the school’s allergy-approved snack list so please don’t send in any additional, non-requested, snacks with your students. Thank you for keeping all our students safe!
- Office staff has asked us to remind you that if you plan to take your child home after a volunteer shift that they must be checked out in the office before you leave with them, and if possible, please notify the office before your shift starts. If you are planning to take a sibling home that is not in the class you were volunteering in you must approve this with the office first! Please do not go to the sibling’s classroom without getting specific instructions from the office first! This really helps avoid confusion at pickup!
- Please send all food for parties in with your child to give directly to their teacher. if you have a large or heavy item that your child is unable to deliver, please drop them off in the office clearly labeled with the teacher's name. This helps get the food to the correct classroom.
- Thank you to our room parents for all their work!!

Teacher Appreciation
- 2025 Holiday Giving – Each year we make an effort to ensure that all of our wonderful staff are included in holiday gifts and are encouraging families to give to a general fund for the holidays, instead of purchasing individual gifts for staff. Through our combined effort, we can give each staff member a great gift and show them our appreciation for all their hard work. Donations will be accepted now through December 14th at https://auctria.events/2025HolidayGiving
- Staff Lunch – Friday, December 19th.
- Stock the Break Room was Tuesday, December 2nd for 2nd grade families.
- Thank you to all the families that brought in snacks for our wonderful teachers! They truly do appreciate it!
- Next Stock the Break Room is for 1st grade families and will be held on Tuesday, January 13th.
I.
VicNet Registration
- The school uses the VicNet/Volgistics platform for all volunteer opportunities throughout the year so please make sure you are signed up.
- New families make sure you’ve completed the Volgistics Volunteer application form and complete the background check. The background check will be sent to you a few days after your application was submitted. This will come from Verified First so make sure you’re looking for that message.
- Current families please make sure you fill out the updated volunteer expectation form if you haven’t already so you’re able to volunteer. Openings won’t appear on VicNet until you have completed this.
- It’s important to sign up for an account even if you’re not planning to come in as sometimes opportunities pop up that you are able to help with and it’s important to have this done before hand as the verification process can take up to a few weeks to complete and we don’t want you to miss out on anything.
- Many teachers allow parents to come in as a “Mystery Reader” for their child’s birthday. You WILL need to be registered on VicNet and have completed the background check to participate in this!!
