Call the Meeting to Order

H. Wier called a meeting of the Finance Committee of Athlos Jefferson Parish to order on Wednesday Feb 2, 2022 at 5:32 PM.

Approve Minutes

H. Wier made a motion to approve the minutes from Special Finance Committee Meeting on 12-09-21.
R. Johnson seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

II. Discussion

Monthly Financials

 

 

October Financials- Provided by Darin

  • Nov, Dec, Jan will come later in February
  • Balance Sheet-
    • A lot of federal grants to record, move funds, etc.
    • Fund balance dipped but will return.  COH is currently at 17 days.
    • Still awaiting some reimbursements.
  • Revenue
    • State rev is slightly below budget
    • Fed grant draws are lagging but normal
  • Expenditures
    • Salary and benefits slightly below
    • Purchased services are slightly high
    • Supplies are below budget at 26%
    • Lease and property taxes are above at 46%.  Property taxes due in December, then will level off
  • Fund balance just over 1 million
  • Income statement
    • Should be around 33% across the board.
    • Local income is 102%
    • Federal Grant is zero, but revised budget should make up for it.  Reimbursements are coming.  Mostly due to reclassifications.
