Reminder that this is the last month with Mike Dunn. As of April financials, all will be in the hands of homecourt. Working on design of new system.
Exactly 75% into school year. Celeste reviewed changes from last month. Some revenue increased at the local level. State funding is down. Expenditures on track.

Draft Budget Proposal:
Celeste went over timeline for budget. Everything is on schedule. Reminded the board that they are the ones to make decisions on the budget with guidance on oversight from Homecourt.
Reviewed the makeup of the budget:
Enrollment. Based on 1250 (capacity is 1305)
Revenue. Expecting large jump due to school being at capacity. ESSER funds are expected next year as well to address student needs.
Salary and Benefits. Largest expense. Research was done on competitors in the area. Comparisons were shared. With 2% COLA, year one is slightly above competitors, but then drops off at year two. 5% increase is more competitive.
Nick asked if benefits are included. No
Discussion on insurance plans/benefits and how they play into total compensation. Celeste said there is time to do additional research if desired.
Discussions on certified vs non-certified salaries.
Celeste will present salary schedule with 5% increase to the board
Lease and bond- No assumption of bonding, even though likely. Done to be conservative.
