New Strategies for staff recruitment:

  • Begin recruitment process in January
  • Amplify our recruitment with sophisticated marketing, teacher testimonials, and culture descriptions
  • Add clarity and salary ranges to all job descriptions/job postings
  • Complete a compensation analysis of all positions to make sure we are competitive with salary
  • Offer tiers of pay:  masters & doctorate candidates receive higher pay without certification
  • Source 2nd career professionals
  • Hire retired teacher, part-time or full-time
  • Join the state retirement program
  • Offer signing bonuses payable after XX days of employment to all positions; stay bonuses for returning staff
  • Offer tuition reimbursement
  • Recruit from out of state and offer a relocation package
