  • Testing fluency, comprehension, decoding, lexile levels, all without testing accommodations
  • CV meeting with each grade team to look at individual student scores
  • contains a progress monitoring piece - piloting with 4th grade team during structured reading period, 2x/week

2. Recommendations for academic budget needs for 2024-25

  • Literacy interventionist
  • 2 new associate teachers
  • A new ICT pair

3. Improvements to Academic Program for 2024-25 Under Consideration

  • Cluster teacher for science/social studies
  • literacy coach (instructional coach); SETSS 1:1
  • Connect Saturdays will be per session funding for teachers with CBO support

4.  Student Enrollment

  • Authorized for 242 students; budgeting for 225 students
  • # of applications is down; 50 applications across grades 1-5

5.  Reauthorization/SUNY update

  • Optimistically we will be on Regents' agenda April or May
  • Spoke to SUNY about current CAP plan
  • Hold May 1-3 for SUNY Board interview in NYC

6.  Staff Salaries

  • Explore truing people up to DOE salary scale. Will be expensive; may have to cut performance bonuses

7.  Saturday Academy and Summer School Updates

  • test prep begins this Saturday ;  Summer school will have 55 seats
