RECAP of TOPICS DISCUSSED on 05/11/22:

• NYS Education Commissioner and Regent Cea will visit Bridge next month on June 6, 2022. 
• MAP Data indicates 3rd and 4th graders showing growth in reading.  Charts indicate growth meeting and exceeding norms. Math data shows need for additional support, especially in 2nd grade.  New curriculum will help multisensory learning.  
• OG and F&P data will be presented in June to BOT.
• Academic contracts discussed: Sundog and Literacy for Life. Modifications exist from last year:  Sundog services reduced (full time arts/graphics teacher brought on to provide instruction).  Literacy for Life contract increased to provide more teacher mentoring and support.  Both contracts will be recommended to BOT for approval.
• New math curriculum adopted. Planning and curriculum mapping will take place over the summer.
• Teacher assessments/evaluations completed.
• Staff retention projected at 100%.
• More PD and support will be provided for teachers in The Writing Revolution curriculum.
• Middle school articulation-collaboration with D 31 ongoing.
• Summer School plan developing will be discussed during June meeting.
