RECAP and UPDATES of TOPICS DISCUSSED on 02/09/22:

 

  • Staff vacancies filled
  • Revamping data for dashboard for more instructional implications and presentation to NYSED 
  • CSE is now providing the mandates required, except for SETTSS--still provided by school staff 
  • School staff and CSE continue to work on IEPs to reflect true testing accommodations for our students.  Progress has been made
  • Bloomberg grant- no application criteria available yet
  • Afterschool program continues
  • Reflections of conversation with NYSED's David Frank
  • Possible March visit by NYC Schools Chancellor Banks
  • Discipline policy will be provided to Academic Committee ahead of BOT vote
  • Portfolios will be added as an enrichment to teacher assessments leading to merit-based salary increments
  • Discussion and committee begun with D31 Supt. regarding Bridge Prep's 5th grade articulation collaboration.
