Data cycles:

1. During bi-weekly data PLCs-

- Analyzing the Maps data and drilling down to skill gaps for individuals and groups of students.

- Analyzing the laps trackers and drilling down to skill gaps for individuals and groups of students.

Teachers use the iReady Toolbox to pull resources that include scripted mini-lessons and student worksheets for each standards aligned skill gap.  Teachers then use the resources and grouping to teach into misconceptions during our two intervention blocks, humanities and math fluency.

Shifting from 1 teach, 1 assist to team and parallel teaching:

Shifting from one teach-one assist to team teaching as a whole group (Launch and I do), followed by parallel or small group (Guided practice), followed by independent work (You do)

Shifting from read alouds to shared reading and writing:

-Echo read

-Choral read

-Teacher read with a thinking task

-Partner read

-Silent solo read
