Kathleen Crawford called a meeting of the board of trustees of Foxborough Regional Charter School to order on Thursday Aug 18, 2022 at 7:33 AM.

Interim Executive Leader Search
Ramona Royal arrived.

Susanna Girard made a motion to appoint Sergio Martin, Matt Yezukevich, and Ramona Royal to act as liaisons to Ray & Associates for the Interim Executive Leader search.
Badawi Dweik seconded the motion.

Discussion continued:
- The amount of money in the current budget for the Executive Director ($190,000) and if the board had any other lines in the budget to work with.
- What is the typical salary range in the industry Annie shared it is typically 15-20%.
- A stipend for housing may need to be included in the Interim Role since this is not a permanent position. This search is national and may involve the candidate relocating temporarily to take the position. Local 2-bedroom apartments in the area cost about $2,200/month. A stipend does not have to cover the total amount.
Kathleen Crawford made a motion to set the salary range for the interim executive Director at $190,000 to $210,000 with a potential housing stipend for up to $1,750/month.
Ramona Royal seconded the motion.

Matt Yezukevich led a discussion on the Interim Executive Leader search. We are contracted with Ray & Associates to seek both a permanent and interim leader for the school district. They need a contact person with the school administration and members of the Board of Trustees. Ray & Associates would like to have a salary range to discuss with candidates along with a housing stipend in case they are not local to the area.
The Board discussed that a task force would be created as a search committee for the permanent position at a later date. Matt Yezukevich encouraged the board to do this soon and to put it on the agenda for 23AUG2022.
