Meeting Format
Whether in person or online, the public is welcome to attend Committee Meetings and have access to meeting minutes. Meetings are held once a quarter and additionally, as determined by the Committee Chair. All meeting Agendas are posted to the school website at least 48 hours in advance of each public meeting.
During the meeting, the Committee follows the published agenda and works through business. Audience members are not part of the formal discussion or deliberations, but may raise their hand to add brief comment or ask clarifying questions. Meetings start promptly on time as noted on the agenda.

Kathleen Crawford called a meeting of the Appeals Committee of Foxborough Regional Charter School to order on Thursday Jun 23, 2022 at 8:03 AM.

Appeal Number 062022002
- Grade 6 student
- The family did complete paperwork with another school to transfer out of FRCS.
- FRCS Received the notification from the New Heights Charter School, Brockton, MA on 07JUN2022. It was signed by a parent on 06JUN2022.
- Per the state regulations, you can not be enrolled in two schools at the same time which is documented in FRCS Enrollment Policy.
Kathleen Crawford made a motion to deny the appeal (062022002) via roll call vote.
Anissia Vixamar seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

IV. Scope of Committee

3rd Reading: Scope of the Appeals Committee
The Committee made several changes to the Scope of the Appeals Committee:
- Spelling & Grammatical changes
- The was a discussion on whether the CODE OF CONDUCT document was still in the scope of this committee. The conclusion was that we would not hear appeals for code of conduct by may make recommendations regarding this policy.
- Composition section
- Delete "If only one member of the Board of Trustees is on the Committee, then the V-Chair will be a member of the District Administration."
- Delete "any BOT or District Administration member of the committee and"
- Add "however can vote on other matters coming before the committee."
- The Committee Shall Section:
- Add "Redact identifying details for students when posting information on agenda and in minutes."
Susanna Girard made a motion to advance the Scope of the Appeals Committee to the Board of Trustees for their approval via roll call vote.
Anissia Vixamar seconded the motion.
