PCA Inc. - Kathy Martin will be retiring at the end of her contract.  She intends to come back 49% in her current position of Federal Programs Director.

SCCA - Dianne Houston will be retiring at the end of her contract.  She intends to come back 49% as Intervention Teacher.

*We are not asking the Board to make either of these positions part-time in case we want/need to hire for full-time sometime in the future.

 
  C. PCA Principal Resignation FYI
   

- Reagen Beamon is resigning at the end of her 2022-2023 contract. Assistant Principal, Christina Boyd, will move into the Principal position.  The admin team will discuss how we want to restructure to determine what position we will hire for.

 
  D. PCA - Add new positions Vote
   

- Last year we combined an AP position with Counselor.  We would like to split that back out into two positions.

- Request to add a full-tim Gifted teacher for Gifted resource classes.

*Both of these positions have been included in the preliminary budget, which still includes a healthy surplus.

  B. Pataula - Fiber connection - Vendor selection Vote
   

Pataula received technology grant funds from the office of rural education and we are using to add fiber connection from the school to the athletic complex. This will help us install wifi devices and cameras. The school recommends using Action Alarm for this install at a cost of $26,000. We received two quotes for this.

 
  C. Pataula - Exterminator Expense Vote
   

The school is seeking approval to spend $6400 for prevention efforts. The vote will be to spend $6400 with Arrow Exterminators.

  D. PCA INC - Wellness Policy Vote
   

The attached change removes the meeting requirement date from the wellness policy - the previous policy stated the committee would meet 4 times a year and that is not feasible. The new policy mandates a meeting once a year.
