-Discuss any new things learned in SCSC Governance Training; review hot topic items
-Create Committee Operating Policy (or maybe Governance Committee should create prior to retreat and review with other members at retreat)
-Committee Structures - each committee creates job description, votes on chair, discusses items to add to Board calendar, sets goals, etc.
Possible Focuses for Governance Committee during committee work at retreat:
-Board Recruitment - Create or review Board Recruitment Process procedures; create plan and timeline for recruitment
-Create or review process for onboarding of new members
