Profit and Loss
Kate is working with new payroll codes and figuring out how best to code payroll costs so they show up clearly in P&L Report. This should be ironed out by next month's meeting. Lynn moved 1,000,000 to the Money Market account to be earning interest since our operating balance was at $1,500,000.00.

$2000 Salary Supplement Update
These supplements were issued March 27, 2026 to all staff plus some substitutes. The school ended up carrying around $80,000 in costs for extra staff not covered.

Facility Updates
New facility bids - the draftsman says they need building drawings. Building quotes need architectural drawings. Concrete is an extremely large expense. The finance committee recommended a pole barn/covered area for a stop gap measure. The procurement site is not a quick process and the concern is that a fixed structure would not be ready in time. Kolyn is going to get some quotes on what that would look like and the cost.

White House Inspection
BCCS had a home inspection in the house. It was not a good report. Lots of termite damage, water damage and black mold. The inspection was very thorough and the inspector did not recommend renters being in the home due to the mold. The finance committee would like to get quotes on what it would take to remodel completely.
