Call the Meeting to Order
C. Clark called a meeting of the board of directors of Liberation Academy to order on Tuesday Aug 8, 2023 at 6:04 PM.

Approve Minutes
M. Mehta made a motion to approve the minutes from Board Meeting on 07-11-23.
C. Clark seconded the motion.
The board VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.
II. Executive Director Report

Enrollment Update
- First day of school was yesterday, August 7
- 212 Applicants
- 77 Fully enrolled
- 85 Students
- 89 FTE submitted in May
- We have about 30 families on the waitlist
III. Facility
A.
Facility Status
Status of Certificate of Occupancy
- We were unable to get the CO to start last week due to outstanding repairs
- We have the CO now
Playground
- Women's Club of College Park volunteered to renovate the playground. They are working on it on the weekends.
- Expected to completion in August
IV. Governance
A.
Board Recruitment
Still recruiting board members.
Three potential candidates. One of them, Wardell Hunter, is a guest at this meeting.

Board Meeting Location
We're not required to meet in-person as a statewide charter.
