Dr. Ed González began his educational career as a classroom teacher Madera Unified in 1982. As a teacher, choir director, and athletic coach, he received numerous accolades, including two MUSD Teacher of the Year nominations and five nominations for the Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers awards. Dr. González served in school administration for 20 years, including eight years as a Superintendent in two districts. Highlights of his administrative career include national recognition as Administrator of the Year from the School Library Journal in 2003 and nomination by Congressman Jim Costa to represent K-12 educators from the United States for a tour of Germany’s Vocational Education system in 2014. Ed was in the first cohort of Stanford University’s Executive Program for Educational Leaders (EPEL) in 2014 and has served as an Advisory Board member for the Center for Applied Policy in Education (CAP-Ed) at UC Davis. Ed served on the Boards of the Valley Cultural Coalition and the Girl Scouts of Central California South, and currently serves on the board of the Fresno Chaffee Zoo Corporation and the Golden Charter Academy. Ed retired from school administration in 2017 and currently works as an educational consultant.

Bard De Vore

Dr. Bard De Vore obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English from CSU Fresno, a Master of Arts in Cross-Cultural Education from National University in Fresno, and a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership, Administration and Policy from Pepperdine University in Malibu. He is an innovative academic leader who is focused on engaging with students and educators to meet students’ needs and to support student success. He has advanced relationship building and management skills, especially in alternative education and with at-risk youth. Dr. De Vore is an expert in online learning tools, data collection and analysis, curriculum development, classroom management, instructional leadership and strategic planning.
For the Golden Charter Academy, Dr. De Vore offers expertise on employee and business development plans to enhance implementation and routine oversight. He has crafted business plans identifying both long term goals and also detailed, smaller goals to keep organizations on track, developing innovative and cutting-edge approaches at all levels with effective resource allocation and strategic planning.
Dr. De Vore is an adjunct faculty member of National University in Fresno where he works with graduate students on development of their Masters Professional Development Quest Portfolio. He has been an Adjunct Professor at the University of Phoenix in Fresno where he employed a variety of teaching techniques to encourage student engagement and to cater to diverse learning modalities: lectures, discussions and demonstrations in the area of Action research, Writing, Language development, critical thinking and Literature.

Jené D’Ambrosio is a Fresno native, wife, mother, and grandmother. She is President and co-owner of D’Ambrosio Trading Inc., a textile recycling company. Jené is a Director on the board for The Fresno County Women’s Chamber of Commerce and actively holds the chair position for networking mixers, on the panel for Women In Business Awards, panel for the networking luncheon mixer, and panel for bylaws. Jené also holds the position as a Director for The Red Cross Central California Chapter chairing Philanthropy. She Chairs the position for Collection Bin Code of Conduct for the International organization SMART, on the government affairs panel, an Advisor for legislation bill CA SB-707 with SMART. She is an Advisor for the City of Fresno's Beautify Fresno, an Advisor for Fresno High School's Warrior Rack Booster Program, Booster for Cheer at Justin Garza High School, and sorority Mom. She has been featured in The Business Journal twice for an executive profile and twice for stories on textile recycling and sustainability. In 2023 Jené received Top Ten Women of the year award from Marjaree Mason Center, a candidate as Visionary Of The Year for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in 2024, a recipient of Outstandings Philanthropist from AFP in 2024, judge for Boys and Girls Central Valley Youth of the Year in 2024, and most recently a winner of the FCWCC Tillie Tuschhoff award in 2025. She is an active member in the community looking to continuously support local organizations with a passion for sustainability and philanthropy.
