Review of “Ask” letter to McGregor Company

This letter is an ask for funds to help support a play structure in the back of Gladish. It starts with an overview of the premise of PCM, followed by a statement of evidence explaining the benefits of play structures on the motor and cognitive skills of children.

The ask then goes over the specifications of the play structure, including size, properties and cost. It shows pictures and basic data.  Finally the ask goes over the breakdown of cost associated with the purchase and installment of the project, including cost to prepare the site for installation.

  B. Appeal Fold

Appeal Fold

One of our goals is to design and publish an appeal fold, brochure-like document that we can distribute among the community. One has been proposed but not yet produced. A review of ideas and scope would be helpful.

  C. Fall Downtown Fundraiser

Fall downtown fundraiser

Summer time would be a good time to plan and assemble a fund raiser event in the fall, at a place in downtown Pullman, perhaps in support of the recent flurry of activities geared up to transform the scope and appeal of downtown. With the help of the chamber of commerce and other outfits we could reach the community and assemble a fun and fruitful event. Let’s review few ideas, including ways to divvy up the tasks.

IV. Closing Items
  A. Adjourn Meeting
