Spring 2017 Parent Conferences
Spring parent conferences ran smoothly at all three schools. Attendance rates are as follows:
Monsenor Oscar Romero Charter School - 93%

Parent Conference Update
Parents were asked to take a survey during their student's conference. The results will be shared at the next board meeting.

MORCS Construction Update
The MORCS construction project has broken ground and contingency funds are already being spent due to unforeseen obstacles such as the finding of soft soil and a storm drain. The full report is available on BoardOnTrack.com and ypics.org.

IV. ITEMS SCHEDULED FOR ACTION
A.
YPICS February 2017 Financials
J. Lucente made a motion to approve the YPICS February Financial and check registers as submitted.
A. Reza seconded the motion.
The board VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.
B.
Board Resolution - Grant Development Process
The board discussed the appropriate percentage of a grants funds our subcontractors and the schools' listed in the grants should receive.
M. Keipp made a motion to approve the Grant Development Process Board Resolution amended to state " YPICS will not approve a Grant unless at least 70% of the Grant's funding will be distributed directly to one or more of the public schools".
C. Vaquerano seconded the motion.
The board VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

Board Resolution - Renewal of Line of Credit with Pacific Western Bank
J. Lucente made a motion to approve the renewal line of credit with Pacific Western Bank.
M. Keipp seconded the motion.
The board VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.
