G. Kumar called a meeting of the Finance Committee of Hill View Montessori to order on Monday Dec 22, 2025 at 5:03 PM.

G. Kumar made a motion to approve.

HVM Foundation
1. As of November 30, 2025, the Foundation realized a change in net assets of ($68,926). This includes depreciation expense and the $50K pass-through grant to HVMCPS
2. The Foundation currently has Assets totaling $2.18M including: 147K in cash + investments & $1.79M in Fixed Assets

There being no further business to be transacted, and upon motion duly made, seconded and approved, the meeting was adjourned at 5:50 PM.

1. Beginning, Jan 2026, the budget will not be hard coded in the files
2. Marc met with Elizabeth to discuss the results.
3. Tuition is over stated by $30K. This will be adjusted when new tuition rate is published in Q1 2026.
4. Salary is fav due to open substitute position.
5.Private grant is over stated by $50K
6. For FY 2027, std increase will be between 1-2%
7. Utilities is fav. This is due to timing.
8. The School has $1.22M in cash as of Nov 30, including the Money Market account, and $24K in receivables.
9. In June 2025, $1.01M was temporarily released from Treasury Direct into the Operating account. In October 2025, $651K was reinvested into Treasury Direct.
10. As of Nov 30, the school has 85 days cash on hand. This results in a green status on the DESE dashboard. 60 days is the minimum for a “green” rating.
