A. Weimar called a meeting of Shining Rock Classical Academy to order on Monday Aug 24, 2026 at 5:07 PM.

Vote to enter closed session
A. Weimar made a motion to go into closed session to discuss real estate matters and include legal counsel, Lisa Stella.
B. Bowser seconded the motion.
The team VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.
II. Real Estate Discussion
A.
Closed Session – Pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat. § 143-318.11(a)(5) to discuss the negotiation of lease and sublease terms related to the Dellwood Campus property.
B. Bowser made a motion to leave closed session.
S. Messer seconded the motion.
The team VOTED to approve the motion.

There being no further business to be transacted, and upon motion duly made, seconded and approved, the meeting was adjourned at 5:45 PM.

No vote was taken during the closed session. The board tasked A. Weimar and H. Wilson with discussing terms of current land-lease agreement with Lake Junaluska Assembly and to discuss the purchase modular buildings on Dellwood Campus with a potential buyer.
