Call the Meeting to Order
J. Sims called a meeting of the Culture Committee of Shining Rock Classical Academy to order on Wednesday Feb 11, 2026 at 11:00 AM.

Approve Minutes
J. Sims made a motion to approve the minutes from NEST Meeting on 01-22-26.
The committee VOTED to approve the motion.
II. Fundraising

Current NEST Funds

World's Finest Chocolate
- Representative will be coming on the 16th to hand out permission slips and give a talk
- 1600 pounds of chocolate have been delivered
- WFC guarantees a minimum profit equal to last year's profit
C.
Bingo Night
- February 27th, starting at 5 PM (early bird games)
- Regular bingo from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM
- Big thanks to Mr. A for organizing the games!
- Seeking food truck
- 5 cards for $10
- Individual card for $3
- Haywood County Fairgrounds provided cards and machine free of charge
- Will have daubers for sale
- We have a high school student and Mr. Gilfoy volunteering as hosts
- FUMC has agreed to lend tables free of charge
- Working with Mr. Weimar to transport tables from FUMC to the gym on Friday early afternoon and returning them to FUMC on Saturday morning

Uniform Sale
- Saturday, February 14th (was rescheduled), 9 AM to 11 AM at building B of the Dellwood campus
- Will publish an updated flier to advertise, and we now have many more sizes for 4-8
E.
Book Fair
- Scholastic book fair March 23-27, Monday-Wednesday
- Supplies likely to arrive the week prior
- Signup Genius for volunteer signup
