J. Morgan and attendees recognized the SRCA Women's Cross Country Team for winning the State Championship

R. Gevjan highlighted the school's current financial standing and noted that the deficit improved by $10,000 since last month

R. Gevjan described the sustainability report that is going to be underway regarding the HS
J. Morgan spoke more about the upcoming sustainability report; it is not expected to be delivered until January at the earliest

J. Sims spoke about the recent NEST activity
- Oct 18 yard sale fundraiser
- Upcoming potential fundraisers
- Weekly volunteer day on Wednesdays to assist SRCA staff
- Still seeking a successor to the retiring NEST president
- Getting volunteer hours for students
- Obtaining ParentSquare access so that NEST can post updates with greater agility
- Seeking someone who regularly attends basketball games to host the Chuck-a-duck fundraiser at each game

Junior Academy
J. Sims expressed gratitude to the SRCA staff who have helped to allocate the items remaining in the former SRJA building; the plan is to host a sale of unallocated items to local child care centers for liquidation

Sports teams and Homeschool/Early College players

A. Weimar spoke about homeschool, private school, and early college players
- Historically, we've needed to fill out our sports teams with homeschool and early college students
- The amount of early college students is exceeding our conference limits
- Max is 30% of non-SRCA students
- We were not in a conference when the current policy was established
- Will discuss more in December

Next Year's Academic Calendar
A. Weimar talked about the calendar for the 2026-2027 school year, particularly that families have expressed hardship in establishing care for their children during the recent Fall break
R. Gevjan asserted that a survey distributed to SRCA staff and families would be a fitting way to capture thoughts on whether or not to maintain a similar break or to spread the days out

J. Morgan commended Trevor Roth for teaching staff about mental health and suicide prevention for grades 3-12
