Kimberly Karacalidis

Kimberly Karacalidis is the State Director for Relay Graduate School of Education, Georgia.
Before joining Relay, Ms. Karacalidis served as a teacher, an assistant principal, and a principal within the city of Atlanta. Her passion and dedication are at the foundation of her 20+ years of experience with K-12 students.
Ms. Karacalidis received her B.A. from Agnes Scott College, her M. Ed from Georgia State University, and her Ed.S from National Louis University. After obtaining her Ed.S in Supervision and Leadership, she decided that her life’s work was rooted in ensuring excellence in education for all.

Errika Moore

Errika Moore is the inaugural Executive Director for the national STEM Funders Network. Previously Ms. Moore was the Senior Program Officer at the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta.
Currently, Ms. Moore is the Vice-Chair for the national Project Scientist board, and the Board Chair for Ferst Readers.
Ms. Moore is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., and the Atlanta Diversity Managers Affinity Group (ADMAG).
Ms. Moore has been honored as an Outstanding Georgia Citizen by the Secretary of the State, a Woman of the Year by Atlanta’s Women in Technology, as an Ecosystem Builder by the Tech for All Alliance, as one of the Top 40 Inspirers in America by InSpire Magazine, Who’s Who in Black Atlanta and with several distinctions from her alma mater, the Georgia Institute of Technology where she earned her B.S. in Industrial & Systems Engineering.

Adrienne Nash

Adrienne Nash, JD is a native of Atlanta who grew up in Southwest Atlanta and graduated from Benjamin E. Mays High School. Ms. Nash earned her BA from Agnes Scott College and her law degree from Mercer University.
Ms. Nash is the Grievance Counsel in the Office of the General Counsel of the State Bar of Georgia. Prior to joining the Office of the General Counsel, Ms. Nash served as a prosecutor for over ten years in Coweta County and Clayton County.
Ms. Nash is active in the Georgia High School Mock Trial program and is also active in the Clayton County Bar Association, Georgia Association of Women Lawyers, and the Lawyers’ Club of Atlanta.

Alfie Grant

Alfie Grant is a Director at JLL, and she works with Fortune 500 companies to align their corporate real estate portfolio with their overarching corporate goals.
Prior to working in the commercial real estate industry, Ms. Grant was a Senior Engineer for UPS Supply ChainSolutions based in Alpharetta, GA.
Ms. Grant holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Georgia Tech and obtained her MBA from the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University.

Andrea Allen-Thames

Dr. Andrea Thames-Allen is a pediatrician, an advocate for maternal and child health issues, and a proud parent of Montessori-educated children.
Dr. Thames-Allen graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 2006 followed by an MPH with honors from Morehouse School of Medicine. Dr. Thames-Allen has over 15 years of pediatric experience combined with public health service.
Dr. Thames-Allen has also served and volunteered on various committees with charter, public, and private schools within the Atlanta community. Her leadership experience within these schools has underscored her belief in community as an essential component to thriving schools.

Fawn Sheffield

Fawn Sheffield has 20 years of experience in the construction management and architectural fields. Ms. Sheffield has experience working on hospital, airport, and school projects, which has afforded her the opportunity to manage a construction project from inception to completion. Most recently, Ms. Sheffield founded The Sheffield Company, a real estate development, architecture and construction management company. The mission is to build healthier communities by mobilizing financial resources, diverse builders, and civic leaders to re- imagine and systematically develop sustainable neighborhoods that take into consideration the desires, needs, and history of diverse populations.

Gregory Edward

Gregory Edward works on the Investment team of Ackerman & Co. Mr. Edward is responsible for financial modeling and analysis to determine the feasibility and profitability of prospective acquisitions, developments, and dispositions.
Prior to joining Ackerman & Co., Mr. Edward worked with the Origination and Closing team at NXT Capital, where he was responsible for modeling, market research, and transaction due diligence.
Mr. Edward is a graduate of Morehouse College with a B.A. degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance. Mr. Edward is also an active member of the real estate community and has been a resident of Atlanta, GA since 2010.
Krystal Williams
Board Member
Krystal is a Product Analyst for Global Enterprise Services at Boston Consulting Group. Krystal is a native of New Jersey and worked in the education space for five years before transitioning to corporate America. While in the education space she worked for a number of organizations including Relay Graduate School of Education, Students for Education Reform and taught 3rd grade at Vailsburg Elementary, part of the Uncommon Schools charter network. She received her BA in American Studies from Cornell University. Krystal is passionate about education and providing quality education to all students regardless of the zip code they live in. Her experience working in education has made her a life long advocate for access to high quality education. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, especially her young son, Kingston; reading, watching movies, and traveling.
