*Backpacks (changed to students can bring them), added Parents Bill of Rights, birthday celebrations changed to a simple ceremony on Fridays (walk around the sun ceremony to mirror what Montessoris schools typically do. A child brings a picture for each year of their life to do a walk around the sun ceremony, which is all the children sit in a circle and the child walks around the globe to represent the years they are turning. So if a child is turning 6, they will walk around in the globe with their picture 6 times). Changed the duration of the handbook to 26, so we review every 2 years instead of each year, added notice of procedural safeguards required by 34 CFR 300.504
