PUBLIC COMMENT AT EQUITAS ACADEMY BOARD MEETINGS – An opportunity for the public to address the Board will be provided at the conclusion of the agenda. Members of the public who wish to speak on any item are requested to identify themselves and indicate on which agenda item they wish to speak. The Board will provide an opportunity for the public to speak for a maximum of three (3) minutes, unless granted additional time at the discretion of the Board. Testimony shall be limited in content to matters pertaining to Equitas Academy. The Board may not take any action on matters discussed during the public testimony period that are not listed on the agenda. Brown Act Compliance: Agenda posted at School

Call the Meeting to Order

J. Troletti called a meeting of the Academic Accountability Committee Committee of Equitas Academy Charter School to order on Thursday Apr 25, 2019 at 6:08 PM.

Approve Minutes

J. Troletti made a motion to approve minutes from the Academic Accountability Committee Meeting on 02-20-19 Academic Accountability Committee Meeting on 02-20-19.
A. Valentine seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED to approve the motion.

Academic Dashboard

Julie: Should we consider including comparison data in the academic dashboard?
Allyssa: Yes, we should. 

J- Board members want to hear more comparison data and we should include 

Comparison Data:
1. SBAC (released in October) Show SBAC comparison- first presentation after Winter (January) 
2. BES school comparison based on Instructional Index Score 

What constitutes a PD and/or learning session? 
Guiding Questions for Learning Sessions:
  • How does Equitas approach the educational program and experience?
  • Beyond the data story, how does one experience greatness at Equitas? What is our narrative? 
Data Dashboard Report
1. Change #4 "non-white" bar to another color and reflect the "non-white"
