  C. Facilities Report FYI David Stephan 15 m

One City Staff, with the guidance of JLA Architects, submitted a second round of pre-application materials to the City of Monona Plan Commission on May 10, 2021. Staff, along with Facility Committee members, will attend a second pre-hearing on May 24, 2021 for One City’s request for zoning approval, which will enable us to use the facility for educational purposes. The city of Monona will have an opportunity to comment on our working plans for the build-out, traffic flow, and signage. The city’s comments and concerns will be shared with the Board. Feedback from the city will be used to prepare a final submission asking for approval of our project. This submission is planned to take place on May 28, 2021 (a very tight turnaround) with the approval meeting scheduled to take place on June 28, 2021.  The link for the meeting on Monday, May 24, 2021 (7pm) is: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82547266035. One City Schools received notice of very high marks in every area of the internal/peer review for our application; however, the competition was fierce and we did not make it through the second phase of the application process. The 25 plus member coalition is committed to continuing the initiative.  Members of the coalition met recently to discuss development of a "Plan B" with additional meetings scheduled throughout May and June.
