One City began promoting opportunities to enroll in One City's preschool and elementary school for the 2021-22 school year on February 1, 2021. We are hosting four Open Houses this month: two for the preschool and two for the elementary school. We are also holding Virtual School Tours for interested families. We will enroll children in 4K through 4th grade next school year.

Marilyn Ruffin, One City's VP of Family and Community Initiatives, and our Registrar, will discuss our enrollment activities and timelines for the 2021-22 school year with you, and ways our Board, existing parents and community members can help with our recruitment efforts.

Please Note:
  • Enrollment begins Monday, March 1, 2021
  • Enrollment ends Friday, March 19, 2021 at 5:00pm central time
  • If more applications are received than the number of seats available in a particular grade level, One City will select students for enrollment for that grade level via a live online lottery.
  • If there are still seats remaining in a grade level on March 19, 2021 after the 5:00pm deadline, One City will fill these seats on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • The Lottery, if necessary, will take place virtually on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. Parents will be invited to join the lottery live online via Zoom at 12pm central time. All children selected for enrollment will receive their official written notification via email on Thursday, March 25, 2021. A paper letter will also be sent to their homes. All children not selected will be placed on our wait list in the order that their name was drawn in the lottery. Parents will have the option of whether or not to place their children on the waitlist.
