II. Presentation of the Proposed Budget for the School Year 2022-23

Overview of the Budget
B. Hines presented the FY24 budget with emphasis on expected revenues, including the projected drop-off of ESSER funds and replacement therein. Expenses were reviewed, including the ratio of student to teachers which plateaus in outyears and has a higher ratio due to the alteration of funding by grade level. Finally, a review of the construction costs were detailed.

During the presentation, some clarifying questions were raised including about the student/teacher ratio. B. Hines and D. Mack provided clarification and definition.
Three staff members were in attendance, but did not have comments at this time.
