  • Active Shooter Training - The district, in conjunction with local law enforcement, will conduct an active shooter training on October 10th.  The Elementary will participate in a separate training from the Middle School and High School.   The district conducts this training every 5-7 years to stay current.
  • Greenhouse - the permits for the new greenhouse have been approved.  Mr. Landrus' students will draft plans as part of a class assignment.  We are waiting on a ship date, which is about 6-8 weeks later than expected due to company issues.  Students will install the footings and slab in-house under the supervision of Glen Landrus and facilities supervisor Chris Segroves.
  • Anatone Property - Don Kerby from Western Appraisals will be re-appraising the Anatone property.  This is to determine a new price to attract buyers.
  • Rabid Bat - There were approximately 10-12 students who touched a bat that tested positive for rabies.   All parents were notified, and students will receive the rabies vaccine.  The playground was adequately supervised, but the bat fell from the tree before the playground supervisor could reach the students.
