September's Academic Committee serves as a working time in preparation for our Committee's presentation to the Board of Directors next Monday, Sept 18th at their 7 PM meeting. Our Committee will present the schoolwide goals for the year as well as fall MAP data.
* Present fall MAP data: What story do we want to tell with this data? How can we compare with spring 2023 or fall 2022? (growth and achievement tab) - Make explicit connection to WIN blocks which are new this year
- Tweak to math goal wording - Cat’s excel spreadsheet to have perspective on schoolwide math & literacy goals (how we did last year) - Do we have any historical data on STAMP or attendance?
* Overview of how data coaches are working with teacher teams around data analysis and schoolwide goals
Anticipate clarification questions around schoolwide goals:
Schoolwide Goals for the 2023-2024 Academic Year:

Literacy: We will decrease the percentage by race/ethnicity of students scoring below the 60th percentile by 2% from the Spring ‘23 to Spring ‘24 administration, as measured by MAP. (Fall to Winter 2023 will be baseline)
Target Language: We will increase the number of students in 2nd-8th grades who meet the proficiency level by 2% as measured by STAMP. Please see proficiency level documents by grade and language. *target language for their grade, by language
