Spring 2024 Plan Work

The group discussed the logo choices for the 30th campaign and whittled it down to the 2 swoosh 30th logos (the 90's style).  Lisa and Katrina will put the finishing touches on those to start using.

The topic then switched to the slate of events for the next 15 months.

Thoughts:

-Do we have enough support to run all of these events?

-The 30th event- pair up a student and a teacher to talk about their relationship and the impact it has had

-Are all constituencies represented?

Next steps:

-Make a task list and split up committees for each of the event s

-Julie is going to meet with a friend to get advice about the Fun Run

-Webpage construction

B.

Alumni Working Group

Event is May 11th at 6:30 at Clover Road

-At event, we should have a goal for giving

-Also have a way to capture "what teachers have meant to you and a story about that teacher"

-Remind alums about matching gifts

C.

The Parker Fund 23-24

Katrina shared that we are at 60% of our goal and need to hit the $200K for budgetary reasons.

Ideas:

-educate people about the budget and the need

-Urgency- explain the problem and how they can be the hero of it

-Update on totals- something in the lobby (thermometer), Fri Ann, what is something that occured due to a gift

-Instead of a phone-a-thon, do an email-a-thon and hopefull utilize a match to entice donors

Adjourn Meeting
