P. Gordon called a meeting of the Enrollment Committee of F.W. Parker Charter Essential School to order on Monday Oct 16, 2023 at 7:05 PM.

Enrollment Data
M. Beganski shared survey data from families who withdrew their child or declined admission when offered. We also reviewed data on the percentage of students from sending towns over time.

Goals
P. Gordon asked members of the committee to suggest goals for the Enrollment Committee. Responses included full enrollment, a more diverse student body and Parker to be a viable option for all.

There being no further business to be transacted, and upon motion duly made, seconded and approved, the meeting was adjourned at 8:01 PM.

P. Gordon led a discussion of additional people to add to the Enrollment Committee, including someone from Leominster, Ayer/Shirley and Worcester and one member from DEI. The group also discussed expanding the Parker Ambassadors to 15-20 people across our districts. The Ambassadors serve as boots on the ground, spreading the word in their community and sharing resources.
