Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
The Coalition of Essential Schools: 10 Common Principles states, under the Democracy and Equity principle that “The school should demonstrate non-discriminatory and inclusive policies, practices, and pedagogies. It should model democratic practices that involve all who are directly affected by the school. The school should honor diversity and build on the strength of its communities, deliberately and explicitly challenging all forms of inequity.” Our Goals 2020-2021 1. Collaborate with staff to develop structure to recruit and subsequently support under-represented populations into Parker community. 2. Create an educational experience for the Board to attain a better understanding of what the Parker staff has created for a roadmap for Parker to become an anti-racist school.
