River Valley Charter School welcomes your participation at Board meetings. The purpose of a public meeting of the Board of Trustees (“Board”) is to conduct the affairs of the organization in public. Your participation assures us of continuing community interest in our school and assists the Board in making the best decisions for our school. To assist you in the ease of speaking/participating in our meetings, guidelines are provided at the bottom of this agenda. All materials for all board and committee meetings, are available on our Board on track public portal found at rivervalleycharter.org.

Committee Roles and Responsibilities

The roadmap for our development plan next year will be focused around these tenets- 

1) Tasks and events should be repeatable and scalable based on committee capacity 

2) Roles for committee members to increase the sense of value in the group and accountability 

3) ID sphere of influence

Planning for 2025-2026

Looking ahead--- but first let's celebrate our accomplishments from this past year. 

$164,000  was the amount we raised this year. 

 

Donor Perfect will make things more efficient and increase our capacity AND we are still proud of what we did this year! 

 

Kudos to Marianne for being a positive member of the "public" non-board member who keeps showing up with fresh ideas. 

 

Development retreat at Karen's house to watch-- Creating Sustainable Funding for Your Nonprofit 55-Minute Recorded Seminar-- June 10th at 5 pm at C.G. 

 

Helps highlight-- Development v. Fundraising 

 

Benevon fundraising model is a systematic approach for nonprofits to build sustainable funding by engaging and developing relationships with individual donors who are deeply passionate about the organization's mission. It focuses on attracting and retaining major donors through a series of events and personalized interactions, aiming to create a culture of philanthropy within the organization.

Welcome packet for KH 

Custom House Maritime Museum Mixer for new parents and graduating families

III. Community Connections

Birdhouse

Birdhouse is offering the space for free. 100+ capacity 

Talking about hosting an event there--- TM, ER and KK meet with the owner in Amesbury. 

Back-to-school  event bash for parents with tickets to purchase
