Pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes (“A.R.S.”) § 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the Board of Directors of Western School of Science and Technology: A Challenge Foundation Academy, Inc., and to the general public that the board will hold a meeting, open to the public as specified below. The Board of Directors reserves the right to change the order of items on the agenda, with the exception of public hearings set for a specified time.

Recommendation: LEA must ensure that the written Procurement Procedures are current and up to date and in accordance with UGG 200.320. Please update your procurement policy to the following: Per 2CFR 200.320 Methods of procurement to be followed. (Micro Purchases) Under $10,000.00. see UGG 200.67. (Simplified Acquisition) $10,000.00 to $250,000.00 see UGG 200.320 (b) per USFR Requires at least 2 or more written quotes. (Procurement by Noncompetitive Proposals) Over $250,000.00 see UGG 200.320 (f). (Procurement by Sealed Bids) Over $250,000.00 see UGG 200.320 ( c). (Procurement by Competitive Proposals) Over $250,000.00 see UGG 200.320 (d).
Additionally, the policy must address Conflict of Interest 2 CFR 200.318 when an actual or apparent conflict arises. The policy should discuss how the conflict of interest is addressed in the selection, award, and administration of the contract(s). In addition, the policy must provide for disciplinary actions to be applied when violations occur. |
