Next Board Meeting Date
Next Board Meeting Date: July 14, 2026 at 6:00pm (ET) Flex High North Flint, 4945 Clio Road, Flint, MI 48504.
Ms. Izzo shared on announcements and important dates to remember (slide 2). She also shared on Staffing and Professional Development for the month of July (slides 3 & 4). The admin team is exploring a potential grant expansion for the 61v Michigan CTE program.
Ms. Izzo shared on Outreach has accelerated with six events in five months, showing strong collaboration with the ESP team. A Teen Resource Fair was particularly successful, with 100% of visitors scanning the school's QR code.
Ms. Izzo shared on Attendance data. Enrollment is steady but a dip is expected with 30 graduates. She also shared on Course completions and Module completions for both campuses. NWEA participation saw a slight increase. The school must continue outreach to 15 non-attending special education students who cannot be dropped, which impacts participation metrics. Early growth data suggests strong math gains, while reading needs attention.
Ms. Izzo shared on a bell-ringing for credit completions, a $50 Meijer gift card incentive, and "Students of the Month". Two seniors received $1,000 scholarships. Several graduates are heading to HBCUs and workforce programs.
