Matthew Clark Board Chair Matthew holds a B.A. in History and Political Science from Aquinas College, along with an M.P.A. and an M.A. in Social Sciences from the University of Michigan-Flint. Growing up in Flint, Michigan, he developed a strong commitment to public service, leading him to pursue a career in human services. Matthew’s career began at GST Michigan Works! as a PATH Program Career Coach, where he worked to improve the lives of families receiving cash assistance. Later, at Mott Community College, he supervised a team of case managers who supported a public housing community in Flint. For three years, he also assisted veterans as the Walking with Warriors Veteran and Military Family Navigator with the Saginaw County Community Mental Health Authority. Since August 2024, Matthew has served as the Lead Military and Family Readiness Specialist for the Michigan National Guard. As project manager, he oversees a team of eight Military and Family Readiness Specialists across Michigan. The Military and Family Readiness program provides non-medical case management, crisis and emergency intervention, and professional development training for Michigan National Guard soldiers and their families. A former member of the Michigan National Guard from 2013 to 2018, Matthew continues to serve his community as President of the Board of Flex High School Michigan. In his free time, he enjoys reading, attending concerts and urban festivals, and cheering on the University of Michigan football team.

Danielle Lepine Board Member Danielle Lepine is a dedicated advocate for literacy and educational equity, with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Marygrove College in Detroit. Serving as the Workforce Literacy Coordinator for GST Michigan Works’ Talent Development Center and Co-Chairperson of Genesee County Literacy Coalition, Danielle leverages her expertise in literacy and workforce development to empower learners of all backgrounds. Danielle’s work centers on equipping individuals with essential skills, building their confidence, and guiding them toward sustainable career opportunities. She is committed to providing students with the tools needed for long-term success, empowering them to achieve self-sufficiency and prepare for meaningful futures.

Wanda Brown Board Treasurer Wanda Brown is Bursar and Title IX Coordinator at Mott Community College where she oversees the college’s vast financial operations and leads its response to complaints of sexual harassment, assault, and discrimination. In addition to her role as Treasurer of FLEX High School board of directors, Wanda devotes time as a student mentor in the Women in Education (WIE) program at Mott. Wanda is an executive board member and past President of Mott's chapter of the American Association for Women in Community Colleges (AAWCC) national organization. She holds a Master of Business Administration and ATIXA Civil Rights Investigator Level 5 and Title IX Coordinator Level 2 certifications. She is a professional member of the American Association of Women in Community Colleges, Michigan Association of Student Financial Services Administrators, and the Michigan American Council on Education (MI-ACE) Women's Network.
