II. Academic Excellence

A.

Presentation of Preliminary CCRPI Data

CCRPI data coming in bits and pieces.
Years past the school has lagged behind the state. 2017 was particularly rocky. The school was rated as D for the last 2 years. 2018 saw big gains in mastery on the Milestones. 14 point improvement in PYP. The formulas changed but the school still outpaced both the district and the state.
Performance Flags - SWD students did not meet targets that were set for 2015-2017. Red Flags as economically disadvantaged and SWD. In 2018 all flags were green. Flags with stars also showed up, signalling incredible growth rates for the school.
2018 - Science is an area for growth. (73.31). Participation must be above 95%.

MYP - 66.3 but still higher for the state and the district. Harder to move middle school growth rates. Goal is for 70-80% consistency. Social Studies had the highest success rate. All areas saw growth.
Performance Flags - All green but White students are still outperforming African American students.

We don't have: an overall score.

This information is embargoed. Do not share this information as it is subject to change.

Readiness and growth are expected to drop soon. Beyond the Core - who's taking other classes? (Chinese - so we get 100%)
Readiness- are they ready for middle and high school?

We may need to check up after the master schedule is done.
Could the PTA get the schedule ready?
Are there things in the categories in readiness to address? Debbie answered that attendance could be one area. Does not include core content areas.
