Call the Meeting to Order

W. Smith called a meeting of the Finance Committee of Excelsior Village Academies to order on Thursday Apr 23, 2026 at 6:22 PM.

Approve Minutes

R. Hutchins made a motion to approve the minutes from Excelsior Village Academies' Finance Committee on 02-26-26.
K. Rutherford seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED to approve the motion.

FY 2026-2027 Budget Review

 

Financials for March 2026: 

  • Net Income impacted negatively by: 
    • Purchased Professional & Property Services - $64,370 
      • Reasoning: Increased SPED & Nursing projections to align with expected actuals 
    • Personnel & Benefits - $9,923
      • Head of School Salary 
  • Net Income Current Forecast: $113,816 
    • Difference of $214,615 from the approved budget V1
  • Question: At what point does the board need to be consulted on budget adjustments during the course of the year when there are large adjustments to specific line items?

Days Cash on Hand Projection for June - 21 Days

 

Estimating SCSC Dashboard Projection - 70 points
