Call the Meeting to Order
L. Kovalevich called a meeting of the board of directors of Global Academy of South Carolina to order on Tuesday Jan 20, 2026 at 4:38 PM.
II. Consent Agenda

Approve Minutes 12-08-2025
A. Ryzhkov made a motion to approve the minutes from K-8 GASC Board of Directors Meeting on 12-08-25.
M. Aulick seconded the motion.
The board VOTED to approve the motion.

A. Ryzhkov made a motion to approve the consent agenda item as presented.

IV. Discussion
A.
Model Policy for Livestreaming Board Meetings
L. Leahey made a motion to approve the Model Policy for Livestreamed Board Meetings, ratified effective November 5, 2026, with livestreaming to begin in January 2026.
M. Aulick seconded the motion.
J. Chisholm presented the ratified Model Policy for Livestream Board Meetings, as required by the State of South Carolina, and recommended approval effective November 5, 2025. Legal counsel is reviewing the policy for any future ratifications.

Update on Charter Contract transfer to South Carolina Public School District.

J. Chisholm presented an update that the South Carolina Charter Public School District formally approved the application and recognized and welcomed Global Academy of South Carolina on January 8, 2026. The Charter Contract with SCPSD will take effect on July 1, 2026, and the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year will be completed under Limestone Charter.
