As of March 31, 2016, IHSNO is in good financial standing. The school has a cash balance of about $875,000. The total net income at this time is -$210,000, about $5,000 under budget. However, there is about $85,000 in prior year expenses and about $70,000 of surplus spending posted in the current fiscal year. The additional MFP payments began this month. We continue to anticipate a surplus at the end of this fiscal year excluding surplus spending and prior year adjustments. The Finance Committee meeting is April 21, 2016 at 5:30 pm at IHSNO in the Community Room.
The first draft of the budget for the ’16-2017 school year will be presented at the April 21, 2016 Finance Committee meeting. Each board member is encouraged to attend this meeting to learn more about funding streams and expenditures projected for the ’16-2017 school year. |
